Around her, the fall leaves shook. They shuddered at the hot anger she burned through them with her sight.
The trees here were his arms,
the leaves were the hue of his eyes.
{He didn't deserve such honest beauty.}
She layed down on the forest floor and pleaded with the sky. As she closed her eyes the wind blew through, as gentle as his breath was once.

The leaves shook and rained down, like the tears he never shed.

This is so sad and has such beautiful agony. It makes me yearn for Autumn.
